The Bison had a close Senior Day game against Holy Cross this past Saturday. The contest ended with a 10-16 loss for the Orange and Blue, bringing their record to 5-6 overall and 1-3 in the Patriot League.
Allie Boyce ’25 scored a hat trick, bringing her just six goals away from meeting the program’s all-time record for career goals. Defender Kiera McClanahan ’27 also found her way to the back of the net, fighting her way down the full length of the field. Additionally, Megan Krestinski ’26, Kat Reynolds ’28, Taylor McClain ’25, Alex Nesbitt ’26 and Alex Macutek ’28 added their own points to the scoreboard.
After reaching a 7-2 deficit in the second quarter, the Orange and Blue brought the gap to just a difference of one goal in the third with three back-to-back goals. The score held strong until the final five minutes of the quarter when the Crusaders scored two goals, extending their lead to three. Holy Cross would continue to expand on this, outscoring the Bison five to two in the second half.
The Orange and Blue will travel to Colgate this Saturday, April 5, in the hopes of picking up another Patriot League win.
