About Us
The Bucknellian is the student-led independent newspaper of Bucknell University. Founded in 1896, originally called The Orange and the Blue, the paper is one of the oldest student activities on campus. The Bucknellian’s readership includes students, faculty, administrators, trustees, parents, alumni and Lewisburg residents.
Students make the all of the decisions regarding editorial content, advertising, marketing and budget management for the paper. The design of the print edition and maintenance of the website is also done by students at The Bucknellian offices on Seventh Street. The paper is printed in Sunbury, Pa., at the printing press of The Daily Item, and is distributed to a number of locations on and off campus.
