  • The 2020-21 theme for the Griot Institute Spring Series is The Griot: Artists, Agitators, and Visionaries – Chronicling Our Stories. This reading group will focus on Agitators as Griots by discussing two of Kia Corthron’s plays: Breath, Boom and A Cool Dip in the Barren Saharan Crick. Kia Corthron is a potential guest speaker in the Griot Spring Series. You are welcome to join the discussion from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., 12 p.m.-1 p.m. or 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
