Wagging Tail Valentine’s Menu:

Love is in the air… and by love, we mean Valentine’s Day seasonal coffee beverages. We returned to a local favorite coffee spot to try out some drinks from Wagging Tail Coffee Co.’s special menu. With coffee, hot chocolate, chai and blitzer offerings, there were fun options all around. Grace and I both agreed that Wagging Tail is up with the trends, as creating fun pink and red drink options for February seems to be all the rage on TikTok (… and Instagram Reels if you’re that kind of person). With offerings of coffee flights (offered at 2 of the Wagging Tail locations) and very aesthetic beverages, coffee shops make the most of the seasonal menu trends. 

We were super stoked to try out Wagging Tail’s special Valentine’s Menu! They had a fun list of options, with fun names like “Love is So Fetch” (raspberry Oreo) and “Love You Beary Much” (teddy graham chai)! Grace and I both had a hard time choosing just one, but we ended up trying the “Ride or Die,” which tasted like red velvet cheesecake and the “You Look Like You Love Me,” which was like a chocolate-covered strawberry! While we waited for our drinks to come out, the ones that other customers got looked fun and pink and made us even more excited to try our drinks.

Last semester, we gave Wagging Tail a ranking of 3.7 out of five and this time around, we would up the score, giving them a four out of five! As we had mentioned during our last review of this coffee shop, Wagging Tail offers a great selection of coffee drinks that are on the sweeter side, perfect for a sugary pick-me-up throughout the day. We would say that those who are looking for a more aromatic and rich coffee flavor might not be satisfied with the drinks here.

Flavor: The two flavors we got were both delicious! The cheesecake flavors were present in Grace’s drink and the red color really embodied what she ordered. On the other hand, the strawberry cold foam on the other one offered a nice hint of strawberry flavor that wasn’t too sweet! 

Fun: We love specialty menus! Holiday times are so much fun to try out limited edition drinks that cafes release. We also found it fascinating to watch how our drinks were made, since we ordered at the window instead of driving through like last time. When the weather gets nicer, the patio area would be a nice place to chat with a friend or enjoy warm weather and yummy coffee!

Fame: Wagging Tail is a classic coffee option for many Bucknellians, with more people finding out about this fun local brand by the day. They just opened a new location in Selinsgrove too, so Wagging Tail coffee might become a key part of every Bucknellians Community Aid or Target run!

Funds: Each drink came out to around $6, which isn’t the most we’ve paid for a specialty drink. While it may not be affordable for your everyday cup of coffee, Wagging Tail is a wonderful option to venture to every now and then.
