The Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department (BVRPD) recently reported the assault of a female University student.

The assault occurred on April 6 at approximately 1:30 a.m. in James Alley between Sixth and Seventh Streets in the Borough of Lewisburg.

The female student was grabbed and pushed against a vehicle by an unidentified white male, who then attempted to kiss her. A bystander called out and the student was able to escape. While the suspect is unidentified, he was described as an average-height white male of college age.

Currently, there have been no arrests or suspects. The BVRPD is leading this investigation.
