What are you expecting for this semester’s BU after Dark? Here is a peek at what will happen at the carnival-like event  on Feb. 6!

This semester’s highlight is the seven inflatables, including the Vertical Rush slide and a Super Twister game where students have to balance on the inflatable while getting their hands and feet on the right spots.

“We try our best to make sure there are different inflatables every semester,” BU After Dark Activities and Campus Event’s (ACE) Chair Member Maryvivian Okwara ’16 said.

The event, organized by ACE, will take place at the Gerhard Fieldhouse from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Students can enjoy funnel cakes, french fries, pizzas, and many other assorted festival food. Stay tuned for surprise food offered at certain times during the event.

Another feature of the event is the inflatables that students can bounce on and feel like little kids again. At the same time, students can also play small games like basketball and volleyball on the other side of the field.

“There is a lot of planning that goes into events like this,” Okwara said.

To increase event awareness, the inflatables are being revealed daily on ACE’s Facebook page. The last reveal will occur on Feb. 6. ACE members are also handing out flyers in the ELC.
