The annual Fall Student Award ceremony was held on the Saturday of Family Weekend, Sept. 23 at noon in Bucknell Hall. Provost Barbara Altmann made opening and closing remarks.

Sixty-six prizes and academic awards have been established, but each is only given if a high degree of merit is achieved. This year, 24 were awarded. Awards range from academic achievement in a certain subject, to a display of exceptional leadership qualities, to excellence in scholarship and athletics.
