The Bison men’s golf team traveled to Fairleigh Dickinson University from March 30-April 1 for the Checkmate Match Play Challenge. The Orange and Blue finished in sixth place out of eight teams with a 1-2 record on the weekend, beating St. Francis of Brooklyn while losing to Central Connecticut State and host Fairleigh Dickinson. J.P. Raftery ’19, Connor O’Brien ’19, Chris Tanabe ’21, and Jubal Early ’19 all won their matches to earn points for the Bison in the victory against St. Francis. The Bison return to action on April 9-10 at Villanova’s Wildcat Invitational.
