The second impeachment trial for former U.S. President Donald Trump began on Tuesday, Feb. 9, officially charging him with “incitement of insurrection” in regards to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building. This trial makes former Trump the first president in history to be impeached twice.

Super Bowl LV finished on Sunday, Feb. 7 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in a 31-9 blowout. With this victory, Tom Brady earned his seventh Super Bowl Ring.

As of Feb. 10, the Chinese Tianwen-1 has officially entered Mars’s orbit with the goal of collecting underground water to potentially uncover clues towards historic life on the red planet. The rover will explore the surface of the planet for about 90 days.

After Myanmar’s military coup, massive protests have broken out throughout the country demanding a return to democratic rule. In response, the police have cracked down on demonstrators using water cannons and teargas to disperse crowds.
