The Bison women’s golf team won once and lost once this weekend in a tough bout against Lehigh. Lehigh won narrowly in the first match on March 27 by a score of 319-317 at the Steel Club in Lehigh. The Bison responded the next day with a 305-302 victory on their home turf.

Tatum McKelvey ’23 had the lowest score in the first match, finishing with a 78. Kelsey Yi ’24, Morgan Hennessey ’22 and Casey Morrow ’21 were the other Bison who shot under 81, finishing with 79, 79 and 80, respectively.

In the second match, Morrow and Morgan Sohosky ’23 led the way, both finishing with a score of 74. Yi and Cristina Canales ’24 finished under par both shooting 77s. McKelvey, Sun Woo Jo ’22 and Sahana Paravantavida ’23 all finished with 79s for the Bison.

“Bouncing back to win our second match against Lehigh was huge for building our confidence as a team! We all played really solid on Sunday in tough conditions, and getting a win from Lehigh made the day even better,” said Morrow.

The Bison will look to build on this victory as they travel to the Navy Spring Invitational at the USNA Golf Course on April 2-3.
