The Bison men’s golf team completed their fall season this past weekend at the Lehigh Invitational. The team placed 13th over the two days of competition. The team shot only 324 on Friday, but managed to bounce back and shoot 315 on the second day.

Despite the team performance, there were several noticeable individuals for the Bison who had great weekends. Jason Lohwater ’22 had a consistently good weekend, shooting a 79 on Friday and an 80 on Saturday. Jake Maddaloni ’25 was tied for the team lead with Lohwater with a 79 on the first day. Maddaloni also had two birdies on Saturday. Blake Wisdom ’23 and Jack Gardner ’23 shot a team-high 78 in the final round to significantly help the Bison. Wisdom had a team-high three birdies on the day, while Gardner managed two birdies. Michael Rudnick ’25 was able to finish the weekend on a high note, improving his Friday score of a 83 to an 80 on Saturday.

Overall the fall proved a successful season for the Bison. They managed to win the Howard Invitational and finished top 10 in two out of five of the competitions. Additionally, the team was very balanced with several individuals posting strong performances throughout the season.

The team will now look forward to the spring when they have several more competitions scheduled. The first one is Feb. 6-8 when they host the Bucknell Veterans Intercollegiate in Florida.
