According to the New York Times, President Joe Biden has recently warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that more sanctions will be placed if he does not withdraw his forces and engage in diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis in Ukraine. President Biden seeks to balance the need to take severe action with preserving the possibility of even greater sanctions on Russia if Putin escalates the conflict by trying to seize more territory. 

Around 10 a.m. on Tuesday Feb. 23, four people died in a helicopter crash on the Hawaii island of Kauai. According to NBC News, the helicopter was operated by Croman Corporation and was training under contract to the U.S. Navy.

According to BBC News, Ukraine has urged their citizens that are living in Russia to leave the country in the fear of a future war. There are large fears of a Russian attack with more than 150,000 troops stationed along Ukraine’s borders.

Archaeologists recently discovered a 9,000-year-old shrine in Jordan desert, according to ABC News. Researchers have suggested that this shrine represents an artistic expression of the Neolithic populations.
