This past weekend, Lehigh traveled to Kinney Natatorium to face Bucknell Men’s Swimming and Diving for their seniors’ last dual home meet. The men’s team’s put in a great effort, posting a commanding 194-73 victory over their rivals, which marks back-to-back winning seasons for the team for the first time since 2015.

The senior group holds a meet record of 18-13 throughout their four years with the Orange and Blue. The seven men have contributed a combined 107 points at two Patriot League championships to date.

Recognizably, senior Leo Kuyl received All-Patriot League honors in 2022 for his continual awarding contributions for the Bison and contributed three wins during the meet last weekend.

A total of eleven wins were seen across the men’s side against Lehigh, with Christian Stef ’23 (200 freestyle), Chris Fabian ’24 (100 backstroke), Will Hedges ’25 (100 breaststroke) and Braden Beagle ’26 (200 backstroke) all making substantial contributions to the broad point gap with their respective wins.

Justin Disanto ’25, Fabian and John Gherig ’25 also added to the tally with numerous second place finishes.

“As seniors, we were grateful to have the day to recognize the time and commitment we’ve put into this team and to be able to have a dominant win was the cherry on top,” Kuyl said.

Keep your eyes out for the men next weekend in Kinney Natatorium for the Bucknell Invitational, which will be the teams final preparation before the Patriot League Championships.
