Bison Men’s Golf traveled to Pittsburgh Field Club in Fox Chapel, Pa. to take part in the RedHawk Intercollegiate on April 17-18. The tournament featured three rounds across two days and 13 other squads, including Patriot League foe Loyola and host Miami (Ohio).

Blake Wisdom ’23 made his presence known in round one, with one over par 72. Despite Wisdom catching fire, Bucknell shot 298 as a team, or 14 over par, leaving them T9 on the team leaderboard. Andres Barraza-Camara ’26 also had a solid opening round with a 77.

The Bison improved after round two with a 296 team score, headlined by a solid 72 from Barraza and a 70 from Jackson Bussell ’23.

After a tough 75 in round two, Wisdom was red hot from all cylinders in round three, where he would drain four birdies and an eagle en route to a four under par 67. This showing propelled him into a finish for solo third on the individual leaderboard. Another consistent day for Barraza and Bussell, in which they carded a 72 and 73 respectively, leaped the Bison into a fifth place finish for the event, only 12 strokes behind winner Marquette.

They head to Hamilton, N.Y. next to compete in the Upstate Battle at Seven Oaks Golf Club on April 22 and 23.
