Bucknell Men’s Swimming and Diving won three events at Bison Invitational against American, Lafayette, Lehigh and Shippensburg.
Saturday afternoon started with a third place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, consisting of Drew Greene ’27, Finn Russell ’27, Colin Smith ’27 and Justin DiSanto ’25. Their time of 1:21.09 puts them at sixth all time; the last time the record was broken was in 2022 with assistance from DiSanto.
Riley Twiss ’27 brought in two wins Saturday afternoon. His first and the team’s first win was in the 200 fly, beating the second place Navy swimmer by .23 seconds. With a time of 1:49.16, he now holds the No. 7 spot in school history. Matt Raudaubagh ’26 claimed his first season victory in the 200 breaststroke.
On the diving end, Jack Krug ’26 continued dominating the competition. He brought in a first place finish in the 1-meter event and third in the 3-meter. His performance boosted him to second in Bucknell’s history with a score of 299.90.
The Orange and Blue placed second in the 100 breast, 100 fly and 200 medley. In the first individual event of the day, 200 IM, the Bison were beat out by only Navy swimmers. Chris Kopac ’25 placed fourth, followed by Avery Kuhn ’28 in fifth and Caleb Kubiak ’27 in eighth.
The Bison additionally managed to go 4-5-6 in the 100 free behind Navy swimmers and third in the 200 back.
The Bison will now prepare for the Patriot League Championships taking place Feb. 19-22 at Kinney Natatorium.
