Only a few days later, the Bison faced Lehigh at home in front of a roaring crowd. Lehigh took control of the start of the game, jumping to a double-digit lead only nine minutes in. Edmonds was the first Bison to score after the team’s nine missed attempts. This would kickstart a 23-6 run for the Bison before the half closed out. After a three from Bascoe, the Bison led 29-25 heading into halftime and would keep the lead for the remainder of the game.
Williamson, who has been leading the team with double-digit points in most recent games, scored 18 of his points in the second half. He scored the team’s first eight points with four straight baskets and forced a Lehigh timeout after a baseline-to-baseline layup. The Orange and Blue continued to outscore Lehigh 37-8 and pushed their lead up to 65-45. Williamson ended his scoring with two back-to-back dunks, assisted by Williams. The game ended with a score of 67-50.
