
National Geographic “Explorer at Large” Nalini Nadkarni will interweave her research on rainforest canopy biota with innovative public engagement during a ticketed engagement that is part of the Weis Center’s year-long Trees Series at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the Weis Center.
A biology professor at the University of Utah, Nadkarni has written 150 scientific papers and books, and has presented new insights on the importance of canopy plants in ecosystem processes— and the effects of human activities on forest diversity and function.
Tickets are $30 for adults, $24 for seniors 62+ and subs, $20 for youth 18 and under, $20 for Bucknell employees and retirees, free for Bucknell students and $20 for non-Bucknell students.
