On Saturday, April 18—in convergence with Admitted Students’ Day—sophomore, Amalia Benenati ’26, led a peaceful protest outside of Marts Hall. Her goal was to focus on the overarching issue of tuition raises, as well as “some negative effects” that she considers to “have followed from this issue,” including a “lack of transparency” in communication after the raises. Some other issues included adjustments to meal plans and mold testing in dorms.
