The men’s golf team finished in fourth place out of 15 teams at the Lafayette Invitational on April 6 and April 7 at the Silver Creek Golf Club. Each team fielded five players, and each player played two rounds. Peter Scialabba ’15 led the Orange and Blue with a 74 on Sunday and a 75 on Monday. He was seven-over par for the tournament and tied in 11th place individually.

After getting hit by a golf ball on Sunday, John Edler ’17 bounced back and managed to shoot a 74 on Monday.

“Some kid from Rider hit me just above my right temple off the drive. He apologized, but ended up going about eight-over to finish his round so while he hospitalized me, I got in his head mentally. Count one for the Bison. As for my one completed round, I grinded out a 74 to help my fellow teammates and contributed to help finish the tournament well,” Endler said.

Thomas Walter ’14 shot a 79 and then improved on that with a 75 on Monday. Schuyler Stitzer ’14 played consistently well both days for a 77 and a 78. Zach Pogust ’15 had 12 pars on Sunday and added 12 more pars and a birdie on Monday to shoot a 79 and 76, respectively.

The Bison will continue on April 14 and April 15, at the Saint Francis Invitational at Sunnehanna Country Club.
