Rain forces Men’s Golf to finish in Ninth Place

The Bison played two rounds at Sunnehanna Country Club on April 14, the first day of the Saint Francis Invitational. The all-day rain storm on April 15 made the course unplayable, so the 36-hole results from the day before were final, leaving the Bison in ninth place.

Zach Pogust ’15 led the way for the Orange and Blue with a pair of 77s, tying him in 21st place individually. Pogust was followed by D.J. Magee ’17, who carded a 75 and an 81. After an 84 in the first round, Billy Wright ’14 finished strong with a 75, while James Mattes ’17 and Zachary Melnick ’17 each had a pair of 82s.

The Bison will head to Annapolis, Md. today for the Navy Invitational. This will be their last tournament before the Patriot League Championship.
