The men’s golf team traveled to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Invitational on April 18 and 19, where it finished 12th out of 18 teams. The team combined for a 308 on April 18 and a 306 on April 19.

Schuyler Stitzer ’14 was a key contributor for the Bison, carding a 76 on April 18 and a 74 on April 19. Individually, Stitzer finished in a tie for 20th place. Peter Scialabba ’15 was not far behind with a 75 and a 76, while John Edler ’17 shot a 77 and 79.

“With Patriot Leagues next weekend, we hoped to put two good team scores together to test ourselves against the other Patriot League schools at the tournament,” Scialabba said. “Our goal for Saturday was to shoot a team score under 300, which we fell a little short of. However, we know what to work on leading up to this weekend and are confident that our games will peak and let us win our first championship in a few years.”

The next and final challenge of the year for the Bison will be the Patriot League Championship tomorrow and Sunday, hosted by Army at the West Point Golf Course.
