The men’s swimming and diving team hosted the Bucknell Invitational from Nov. 21-23. The competing teams included Binghamton, Delaware, Fordham, Georgetown, La Salle, Towson, Vermont (women only), Yale (men only), and Susquehanna.

The Orange and Blue finished second, scoring 1,147 points to Yale’s 1,762. Some standout performances included Louis Behnen ’17 and Chris Devlin ’18, as Behnen placed fourth in the 1,650 free, and Devlin finished second in the 200 back.

“Racing against the Yale’s men team was tough for sure, but they are the competition we needed to go up against now in order to prepare for great things to happen in February,” Behnen said. “Our team has been training very hard this year and it will take more than a couple days of rest to see our best performances come forth. I’m very proud of how we all competed and I’m excited for what’s to come.”

Captain Ben Seketa ’15 also had a great finish as he was the top Bison finisher in the 200 breast, taking fifth-place. Sam Mackie ’17 finished 12th in the same event. Jack Robinson ’17, Behnen, Steve Grune ’16, and Devlin finished the 400 free relay in fourth place.

The Bison look forward to Dec. 6 when they host Colgate at 1 p.m.
