If You Have a Significant Other…

Lauren Boone, Senior Editor

Here are a few ideas about how to enjoy this Valentine’s Day with your significant other.

Enjoy a meal together.
  • On Valentine’s Day, it is always nice to sit down with your significant other to enjoy a nice meal in his/her company. Have others do the cooking for you at any of the Lewisburg restaurants like Elizabeth’s, Brasserie Louis, Sushihanna, Reba & Pancho’s, La Primavera, The Lewisburg Hotel, Siam, and many more. To mix it up, cook your own romantic meal with your significant other if you have access to a kitchen. Besides the traditional dinner, try a Valentine’s Day morning brunch. Go to Amami or Cherry Alley, or cook your own!

Get active.

  • With winter still going strong, we have been taking shelter indoors for too long. Get outside and enjoy the activities that Lewisburg has to offer. You and your significant other can enjoy hiking in the mountains, sledding, snow shoeing, or even cross-country skiing.
  • Outdoors aren’t your thing? Check out the roller skating rink or the Bounceplex in Selinsgrove.

See a romcom.

  • Another fun idea to do this Valentine’s Day is to see a romantic movie. Go see the highly anticipated “50 Shades of Grey” at the Susquehanna Valley Mall or watch romcoms like “The Titanic” on Netflix.

For lovers who are 21+.

  • Go wine tasting at the Fero Vineyards & Winery. You can purchase cheese and crackers there to go with your wine or bring your own. Enjoy the treat inside or outside with your significant other.
  • Try the different flavors of ciders at Bushel & Barrel. Split a waffle, too.
