The Bucknell Student Government (BSG) Vice President of Finance, Gregory Chassapis ’16, resigned recently, leaving the position vacant. For the remainder of the term, BSG will elect a new VP of Finance, which will be chosen on March 22.

“As budgeting season is quickly approaching, we would like to begin the application process in a timely manner,” said BSG President Alex Rosen ’16 in an email to students on March 15. The VP of Finance position requires overseeing the budgeting needs of recognized student organizations, according to the University website.

Chassapis declined to comment on his resignation, although he noted that he wishes BSG the best of luck.
