For the fourth consecutive time, the volleyball team triumphed over Loyola (Md.), placing the Bison fifth in the rankings for conference standings. The Orange and Blue completed the match with a 3-0 sweep, winning 25-22, 25-13, and 25-20. The Bison are now .500 with a record of 12-12 overall, 6-8 in Patriot League Play.

The victory for the Bison was largely due to efforts from their young talent. Outside hitter Blake Buchholz ’19 played a particularly competitive game. Buchholz tallied 14 kills and made no errors on 23 attempts, earning her a .609 hitting percentage. She also tallied nine digs, earning her the team-high digs.

Stephanie Occhiogrosso ’19 and Hailey Stout ’18 recorded seven kills each, while Karen Campbell ’16 and Erika Eastley ’17 added six kills apiece. Meghan Wentzel ’16 assisted on 34 of the team’s 37 total kills.

The team will be back in action on Nov. 13-14 when it hosts Army West Point and Holy Cross to finish off the season.
