It was announced on March 9 that the University received a $530,000 grant to benefit the Stabler Scholarship Fund, which is designed to supply students in need of financial aid with annual, renewable awards. This contribution was made by the Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation, increasing the foundation’s total monetary support of the University to a whopping $3.2 million. The foundation endowed the Stabler Scholarship Fund in 2011 and has since provided Stabler scholarships to more than 50 students, five of whom have already graduated.

More than half of students enrolled receive grants and scholarships on an annual basis, without which they would not be able to attend the University. The top priority of the WE DO Campaign, which has so far raised $390 million, is to provide scholarship support for the student body. Currently, it is only $110 million short of reaching its goal of half a billion dollars.
