The Bison lost its first game of the season on Oct. 22 to Lehigh on the team’s Senior Night. Prior to the game, Sarah Bresette ’17, Cora Climo ’17, Alexis Gannon ’17, Sam Powers ’17, Jessica Ratner ’17, and Kelsey Witt ’17 were honored.

Lehigh came out strong in the first half, scoring three goals. Prior to this game, the Bison had only let up six goals all season. The Orange and Blue picked it up in the second half when Maddie Mulford ’18 and Bailey Hurst ’20 scored one goal each, making the score 3-2. Despite the Bison’s efforts, they could not pull out the win. The loss made their record 13-1-1 overall.

The Orange and Blue took a break from Patriot League play on Oct. 25 to face Princeton. Kendall Ham ’18 scored the game’s first goal off a long ball from Mulford in the 25th minute. This marked the 11th consecutive game this season in which Mulford scored a point. Princeton, the defending Ivy League champions, scored in the 71st minute to tie up the match. Princeton then held a 10-2 shot advantage in the second half and in overtime. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, bringing the Orange and Blue’s record to 13-1-2.

The Bison’s next game is against Army West Point on Oct. 29. If the Orange and Blue win this game, they will clinch the top seed for the Patriot League tournament.
