Brady Hoar ’29 was named the Bison of the Week after a stellar starting performance on the mound to lead the Bison to a game three victory to take the series against Navy.
Hoar allowed no runs on two hits through seven innings against Navy last Sunday. Hoar struck out two batters and forced 10 ground outs and seven fly outs, only surrendering one free base via a hit batter.
In six starts for the Bison, Hoar has a 4.25 ERA. He has put up three quality starts and four starts of at least five innings. Over his last two starts, he’s allowed only one earned run and seven hits in 13 innings. The freshman was also named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.
