Avid was born and raised in Los Angeles—a fact that she makes sure everyone on campus is well aware of. After making the move over to Lewisburg, Avid became a member of The Bucknellian staff in order to continue to pursue her oddly high affinity for publications. She quickly found her home within the layout and graphics sector of the staff as a Layout Editor and later as Presentation Director. Later, she refocused her efforts on the very website you are visiting as Web Managing Editor before taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief. In addition to her love for all things related to The Bucknellian, Avid is overtly passionate about fonts, music, Wes Anderson, the Lakers, and FC Barcelona.
