Sidney Shaffer ’27 earned this week’s Bison of the Week after stellar performances in the team’s volleyball matches against Lafayette and Lehigh this past weekend. Shaffer led the Orange and Blue with a massive 27 kills out of 55 attacks to earn a .473 hitting percentage. She also contributed five blocks and ten digs to the Bison’s defensive play. This helped the team go 2-0 for League matches.
During the match against Lafayette, Shaffer stole the show by gaining 18 kills to gain a .621 hitting percentage with no attack errors, leading the team’s four-set victory.
This is Shaffer’s second time receiving this award. The Bison will be back in action this weekend against Holy Cross and Colgate on Sep. 26-27.
