Reese Czajkowski ’28 of Field Hockey has won this week’s Bison of the Week Award following a two-goal weekend in the Bison’s matchups over Patriot League rival Lafayette and Michigan State.
Against the reigning Patriot League champs, Czajkowski supplied a goal for the Orange and Blue en route to an overtime loss to the Leopards. The sophomore tallied the first goal of the game to get the momentum rolling in the Bison’s direction.
Czajkowski led the Bison once again in their matchup against Big Ten opponent Michigan State. She notched another goal to help Bucknell secure a 4-0 victory over the Spartans, the first win for the Bison over a Big Ten opponent since 2016.
Now with five goals on the season, Czajkowski is tied with Kira Leclercq ’26 for the team lead while also ranking in the top five in goals throughout the conference.
Next up for Field Hockey is an in-conference game at home against Holy Cross this Saturday.
