
Bucknell football quarterback Ralph Rucker IV ’26 has been named this week’s Bison of the Week following a massive performance in the team’s 33-28 victory at home over conference foe Richmond this past weekend.
The Lucas, Texas native went 24-of-34 (70.6%) passing for 284 yards in the air and a touchdown against the Spiders. Rucker also ran for 26 yards. With his 310 yards of total offense generated this weekend, Rucker has now broken the Bucknell football record for career total offensive yards. The previous record was held by Brandon Wesley ’13, who tallied 6,952 total yards of offense throughout his career.
On the season, Rucker has completed 68.1% of his passes for 1,510 yards to go along with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. The senior also earned Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors after his outing in the victory.
Next up for Bucknell Football will be its faceoff against Lafayette on the road on Saturday. The Bison are 4-2 overall and 1-1 in Patriot League play.
