Women’s Rowing traveled to Massachusetts for its first race of the 2025-2026 season at the Head of the Charles this past Saturday, Oct. 18. The Bison sent their Varsity Eight crew, which finished 17th among the 43 competitors. The Bison placed higher than other Patriot League teams in the race.
Katie Lash ’26 coxed the boat, which was stroked by Sadye Levensten ’28, Bella Guzman ’26, Evelyn Sherman ’28, Logan Moore ’26, Kalena Gatesman ’27, Caroline Cawley ’29, Clara Eikeboom ’27, and Colby Bernhard ’26. The team placed a time of 17:03.572, less than a minute from the winning time of 16:14.664 posted by Yale.
This is one of the two races Bucknell will compete in this fall. They return for their next race on Nov. 2 on Lake Carnegie, where they plan to race multiple boats for the event.
