Men’s Golf finishes seventh at Macdonald Cup

Men’s Golf competed in the Macdonald Cup this past weekend in New Haven, Conn. Several of the Bison gave impressive performances, which helped lead the team to a seventh place finish with 54-hole total out of 890. The team finished with a 292 team score, the best of the weekend.

Alex Creamean ’27 led the team with a 1-under-par 69, close behind was Hayden Quinn ’27 with a 72. Creamean finished with a 72-73 Saturday and ended in a tie for third place with a 4- over 214. He found himself placed amongst Yale and Georgetown golfers. 

Creamean finished with four birdies after Sunday’s round, one coming on his final hole (par-3 fifth). Quinn finished with a birdie in the second round and made 14 pars. 

Other Bison with remarkable showings this past weekend include Jake Maddaloni ’25 (73), James Key ’26 (78) and Michael Rudnick ’25 (75).

The Orange and Blue will be seen competing next in the annual Fall Invitational hosted at the Bucknell Golf Club the weekend of Oct. 8.
