Women’s Volleyball took on Lafayette this past Saturday, Nov. 4 along with Lehigh on Sunday, Nov. 5.

The Bison started the weekend off hot with a sweep of Lafayette in straight sets (25-22, 25-17, 25-16). Catherine Jamison ’24 led all players in the match with 12 kills. Laura Caro ’26 also notched 36 assists in the sweep. The Bison improved to 10-4 in Patriot League play with the victory and a 14-9 overall record.

It was Senior Day for Bison Volleyball on Sunday, which was appropriately celebrated with a second consecutive win for the weekend over Lehigh.

Bucknell won the match 3-1 (17-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-23). The Mountain Hawks gave more of a challenge to the Bison than Lafayette the day prior, but the Orange and Blue were ready for it.

This victory, bringing the Bison to an 11-4 conference record, tied the program record for number of in-season conference wins. Jamison and Allie Lopez ’24 gave a great final farewell to their home court with 15 kills and seven blocks respectively.

“We have a standard that we try to exceed no matter the opponent and that’s just what we have said all season,” Lopez said, “The only thoughts going through my head during the match were ‘this is your shot to leave it all on the court’ and that’s what I did.”

The team ends its regular season against American in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 11.
