Bucknell Men’s Golf spent Monday and Tuesday competing in the Blue Hen Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Delaware at White Clay Creek Country Club.
Day one of the event featured 36 holes, and the Orange and Blue found themselves tied for sixth place after the day was completed. Jack Hartman ’28 bounced back from an opening-round 78 (+6) with a 71 (-1) in his afternoon round. Patrick Pritsios ’28 led the way in the morning for Bucknell with a 75 (+3) but couldn’t keep the momentum going, as the sophomore followed that round with an 81 (+9) in the afternoon.
Taylor Kuehn ’27 went 79-77 through his two rounds on day one, and Hayden Quinn ’26 went 81-80.
Day two of the intercollegiate didn’t go as the Bison had hoped, as the Orange and Blue fell to eighth place in a 12-team field by the end of the event.
Pritsios led the way with a 7 (+1) in his final round, carding three birdies and four bogeys. Hartman was the low Bison for the event, tallying a final round score of 74 (+2). The Orange and Blue also counted a final round 78 from Kuehn and a final round 85 from Henry Bolster ’29.
On the individual leaderboard, Hartman finished in 11th place at +7 for the tournament. Pritsios followed with a Top-24 individual finish at +13, Kuehn finished Top-41 at +18.
