Women’s Swim and Dive goes 2-1 in Navy Quad meet

This past Saturday, Nov. 4, Bison Women’s Swimming and Diving secured a 2-1 record at the Navy Quad Meet. The Orange and Blue lost to Navy by 23 points (153-130) but beat American by 112 (203-91) and Lafayette by 152 (226-74). 

Among the scored finishers, three Bison placed first, including Emma Feld ’26 in the 200 Backstroke (2:07.20), Virginia Hastings ’27 in the 500 Freestyle (5:10.22) and Kyla Kelly ’26 in the 400 IM (4:27.84). 

Kelly also placed second in the 100 Butterfly with a 57.74, among five other Bison who placed second in other races, as well as third in the 100 backstroke with a 57.18. 

Other notable swimmers include Skye Sunderhauf ’25, who placed second in both the 400 IM (4:30.49) and 200 Butterfly (2:05.98), and Rylie Giles ’25, who placed second in the 500 Freestyle (5:10.42), third in the 200 Freestyle (1:52.89) and third in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:38.98) along with Hastings, Kayla Lichtner ’24 and Ashley Piacentino ’27.

The Orange and Blue are now preparing to race the Loyola Greyhounds on Saturday, Nov. 11.
