Men’s Wrestling hosted in-conference rival Army this past Saturday for a dual match. After the score was tied at intermission, Army finished the match on a 14-3 run to take the victory over the Bison.
The Bison got out to a 3-0 lead after Braden Bower ’26 won his contest with a 3-0 decision. The Black Knights quickly shrunk the deficit with two victories of their own.
Myles Takats ’27 later earned a 5-3 decision, then Tyler Bienus ’28 earned a win to tie the match at 9-9 heading into the intermission.
However, the Bison did not manage to carry that momentum into the second half of play.
Dillon Bechtold ’28 was upset in his match, Lucas Lawler ’29 was minimally edged out in a 5-4 decision.
After Kade Davidheiser ’27 won a 9-7 decision to cut the deficit, Bryce Manera ’29 fell to close out the match.
Next up for the Orange and Blue is an away match against Drexel on Saturday, Feb 7.
