Women’s Basketball picked up its second win in its last three games with a 62-51 victory over Boston University on the road over the weekend. The Bison improved to 7-14 overall and 3-7 in conference play.
Tuana Coskun ’27 led the way with 26 points as the Orange and Blue shot 47 percent from the field as a team and 36 percent from three-point range.
The Bison were in control the majority of the time, hardly trailing for the entire contest. They outscored the Terriers in three of the four quarters and tied their point tally in the fourth.
The Bison were outrebounded 34-23 by Boston, but forced 18 turnovers compared to surrendering just five of its own. Those 18 turnovers forced turned into 19 points for the Orange and Blue.
The Orange and Blue assisted on 15 of their 26 made field goals while swiping 12 steals on the Terriers.
Desirae Ashton ’28 was the only other Bison in double figures in the scoring department, totaling a career-high 14 points off the bench.
The Bison are now finished with an intense road trip, as they have played three of their last four games away from home. The Orange and Blue went 2-2 over that stretch.
Next up for the Bison is a road matchup at Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 7.
