Men’s Soccer drew a scoreless finish against American at home on Senior Night, bringing the Bison to 8-3-4 overall and 3-2-2 in conference play with just two matches remaining on the slate.
The Orange and Blue celebrated Zane Domsohn ’26, Freddie Lapworth ’26, Cade McGrath ’26, Jimmy Pombor ’26, Ben Sheffield ’26, Jackson Sullivan ’26 and Cohen Weaver ’26 on Senior Night, as the seven have now combined to play over 350 matches in a Bison uniform.
Lapworth was fantastic in net in one of his final home stands as a Bison, making six critical saves against the Eagles to keep the contest tied. The crucial defensive moment of the match came from the 58th minute, when a great through ball by American presented a 1v1 for Lapworth and the ball carrier, but Lapworth was able to shut the drive down. The senior keeper earned his fourth scoreless outing of the campaign.
The Orange and Blue now sit in sole possession of fourth place in the Patriot League with two matches to go, after the Bison earned a point with the draw against American.
Next up, the Orange and Blue will hit the road to take on Navy on Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. EST.
