Women’s Tennis defeated Lafayette 6-1 in their match on Saturday, picking up their second consecutive win and improving their Patriot League record to 2-5.
The duo of Abby Platt ’26 and Riley Jennings ’28 cruised to a win on the No. 1 doubles court, 6-1. Summer Even-Esh ’29 and Jaycie Mair ’27 won their match on the No. 2 doubles court by the same score to claim the first point of the day.
Platt would defeat a Leopard on the No. 1 singles court, 7-6, 6-7, 10-8, to pick up her second victory on the day and give the Orange and Blue a 2-0 lead.
Tori Allen’s ’27 win on the No. 3 court in straight sets (6-0, 7-6) would put the Bison up 3-1 and one point away from clinching the match.
Mirra Manolov ’26 would finish it on the No. 4 court, winning in straight sets (6-4, 6-1). Mair and Natalie Devraj ’28 would tack on extra points with their wins as well, both in straight sets, as the Bison stampeded to a 6-1 victory over the Leopards.
